The Acme market has the best chicken in Delaware! The cashier's are very nice as well.

Not a bad store, higher grocery prices than other places. Much of the staff seems to think they are surgeons as they are all wearing masks which is creepy and off putting. But they have a seafood counter, are generally clean and occasionally have good sales - only if you use their app.

Upper management is going to drive them out of business. I ordered cupcakes for my son's football team. The day I went to pick them up as scheduled, the bakery was closed. Went to go find a manager and they literally skitter away like roaches and hide in the back offices. Meanwhile, there's no staff on the floor. From what I overheard, management sent everyone home. Fortunately, there was an employee who had just clocked out that was willing to help and I was able to pick up my order.

This is my go to store but this morning ( Saturday 9/20/25). I visited store and was disappointed once again in the deli section. It’s never staffed properly. One person to do the deli orders, one person for party trays. The lady cutting deli orders constantly talking to party tray maker. She was moving slow, I watched her touch her face with glove and even sneeze covering with her wrist. Disgusting.. she continued cutting customers meats and cheese. I walked away without buying deli. As I went to leave the store, I saw the party tray maker ( Sam was her name, I know this because she was talking on the phone and said her name). She was still wearing the gloves while on the phone… pretty sure she didn’t change them. Do better Acme your workers need to better when it comes to sanitation
