  This is our first time here...honestly this is the nuce sbd clean place to eat with family. Food and services was extremely good. We loved it.

  The food is good overall, though the consistency isn’t always the same. Service has room for improvement, but for this location, it remains one of our go-to spots.

  Little Spice in Newark is our family’s go to for South Indian cuisine for the past 4+ years. Our kids love the ghee dosas which are the crunchiest in town. My wife and I rotate between the karampodi fish and Apollo fish or the various Biriyanis. Highly recommended!

  The food was really good we absolutely loved the Majestic Chicken appetizer and the Ghee Roast Pulao, both were flavorful and well prepared. However, the ambience and maintenance were extremely disappointing. The place looks poorly maintained and the overall dining environment takes away from the food experience. Since this is the only Indian restaurant in the area, the owner really needs to pay attention to cleanliness and ambience. With better maintenance, this place could be excellent because the food clearly has potential.

  This is based on our experience and others may have different experience. It’s a small place with comfortable seating and pleasant staff but they could be a bit more specific with information when you order and thus might make a difference to your eating experience. My wife and ordered masala dosa and vegetable pulao . Masala dosa was good and no complaints there. The pulao was just so hot when the chili it burnt our tongue and we couldn’t taste the good . Too much garam masala spices and full of Thai chili or some kind of green chili. When we asked the waitress she told us this fish is precooked so there are no alternatives of spice levels . Had she told us thus information at the time of ordering we would have ordered an alternative dish. This is what I mean when I say staff who take the orders need to learn to communicate this type of critical information to customers at the time of order . We paid for the pulao but could not eat it as the chili was overwhelming and I don’t know how anyone could cope with such strong chili in the food which destroys your sense of taste. Very dissatisfied with the way it turned out so I don’t think I will go back to try snugging rose because if the food is so heavily spiced and hot we would never enjoy the taste of the food. For this reason we decided not to go back
