I know the days are long and can be mentally frustrating at times. That’s why I always do my best to make the employees experience as painless as possible when I come through the door. Today I came to your establishment after a long morning at work, and left feeling pretty terrible about myself. I ordered a honey chicken bowl with a side of chips and queso. Everything about the interaction was normal until I was about to pay for my food. At that point I over hear the guy that made my order tell the cashier “Yeah this one was predictable, honey chicken bowl AND guacamole AND chips AND a side of queso.” I just put my head down, paid for my food, and left. But it really bothered me the way he was making fun of my order and subtly my weight. I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it, but my whole car ride home I kept overthinking the interaction and it didn’t sit right with me. I shouldn’t pay for an expensive meal after a long day and leave feeling worse than when I came in. Not cool.
