Bad Shopping experience even when you’re a regular at the store. The electronic fences at the registers ruins your shopping experience & is very inconvenient. Laundry detergent is locked behind glass shelves. You have to call & wait for someone to retrieve product. The electronic fences are there for shoplifters / thief. At 1st i didn’t like it because it’s a constant inconvenience , but i understand theft issues… Just not at my inconvenience & constant stereotypes. Someone’s always hovering over you, & even picking items up & checking your items scanned on screen. My breaking point was when I went to registers & a customer beside me was complaining about their shopping experience, the fence that locks you in & bags etc. I understood the customers frustration & i wanted to say “try not taking things personal, this store has theft problems.” (as they say) I thought 💭 “ Ok, so it’s not just me.” I chose to mind my business because i thought maybe the store reps need to hear this information from frustrated customers. Just as it’s my time to go i picked up my food items to leave & had to put them down to scan my receipt 🧾 to get out, go to pick my food items back up just for the fence to close on me. I ask the Clerk who watched me scan & purchase items to help let me out (prisoner) & she has to call someone with a key 🔑. I’m tired & just want to get in & out of the store. That set person arrives & ask for my receipt 🧾 after clerk’s told that I scanned it already. Clerk makes it difficult, my hands are full so I say grab my receipt 🧾 out my jacket pocket. Clerk says I can’t do that. I was saved by the original clerk who said open the gate for customer. I’m never spending my hard earned money 💰 there again!!! They should just higher & pay more clerks at registers in stead of making me do clerks work for free without getting paid / receiving discount for scanning my own items working for free 🤣 I’m onto finding another grocery store 🏬 that doesn’t have these issues 🤣😂🤣😂

Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time today. I don't usually patronize Acme but since it was in the shopping center and I needed a couple of items, I decided to shop here. I visited the shopping center because of Burlington. I have never visited a Delaware location of Burlington. So here I am. I wanted to use the rest room but they said we had to go to customer service to ask for a code and I decided not to do that. I just waited, planning on using the rest room in Burlington. When I arrived at Burlington, they had a water issue and the rest room was closed. I have no idea what the employees do when they need to use it. I wsa able to find the two items that I needed, milk and hot chocolate. I decided to use the self checkout. A nice lady employee was there. I checked out my two items, paid cash and then I turned to leave. In order to exit the self checkout area, you have to scan the bar code on your receipt. Something new, I have never done that anywhere. Its all good. I tried to sell Yolanda's book while I was here. I talked with a nice lady and I showed her Yolanda's books. She was very interested and purchased the book. Shebra gave me a flyer for a coat drive. I will be there to donate some of our clothing. Have a good night, workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous!!!
