Yes, it's storefront atmosphere and in the mid afternoon the staff was overwhelmed, but the fish & chips were Great. Good quality fish, tasty batter and cooked to perfection. Chips are not the fat steak fry variety, but thinner and appropriately crispy. They stood up to a little splash of mart vinegar. Dang this was a good meal. Just don't bother with the mushy peas unless you are a pea fan or homesick.

This is a great place to eat authentic English food. I go often and as much as possible since we are about 45 minutes away. It’s worth it. My son lives the Sheppards pie. Alison hits it out of the park.
