However, I recently had a disappointing takeout order from Bethany Blues on Coastal Highway. We opted to order turkey, brisket, baby back ribs, and several sides. Unfortunately, all three meats were severely dry, lacking any discernible flavor. The texture resembled that of military-style rations or jerky. The baby back ribs were particularly egregious, with an almost propane-like taste and complete lack of any moisture. While Bethany Blues has undoubtedly created decent takeout services, it is imperative that the company addresses the significant quality control issues that have been observed. The sides were edible, albeit lacking in flavor. The potato salad remains a favorite, but we may hesitate to order any barbecue meats in the near future
