  I have been shopping regularly at Safeway for about 3 years. Their prices are high, but I found if I am selective and shop the ad, I come away with good deals. Recently the store ran Doritos & Cheetos party size on sale. The app coupon would not populate.the manager told me the ad was wrong and would not honor the price. I reached out to corporate, which apologized but would not honor the ad. This is a disappointing experience, especially with the cost of food and the size of the retailer. This is not the 1st time I had this type of experience here, but it will be the last. Buyer beware if you shop at Safeway! Verify your receipt when you check out because you were probably over charged.

  This is was extremely busy and only had one register open. When they made an announcement that they needed help the person that was on the announcements had a very nasty attitude when speaking. When I had asked someone in the produce area, where the bathroom was, he wanted to be smart and say the bathroom is up by the front door you know the door that you walked in when you first got here by the deli. A ladder was left up in one of the aisles with no associate.

  Safeway supermarkets are clean. It is wheelchair accessible it also has public bathroom. The reason for the 4 star is a little expensive. But they do have good products.

  I love the store. Lots of variety. Fresh fruit and vegetables. I bought four reusable bags for $5. And the store is never overcrowded.

  I've been a customer of this Safeway for years. My whole family loves their deals with the app & in store but a combo of the customer service desk woman with the black hair who wears glasses having a bad personality of blatantly being rude even after speaking with the manager which made her fly right for two months and dealing with the red haired woman tonight(03/06/26) after I was over charged for one bottle of seltzer I think it's time to call it quits. When you don't have an issue the store is great but man when you do & get one of those two it's a coin toss on your experience. I know you don't want to get rid of your golden employees who may do a great job but if they are a constant issue as I've seen in another review of the red haired woman Kim(name said in a review) and Francine who is the black haired woman with glasses who I've dwelt with before maybe it's time for a change.
