  My husband and I have been really good customers at this location, but this past week on 1/27/26 we experienced an atrocious act of customer service or let me just say, the lack of. Let me preface this by mentioning that this location is part of the Team PIE (Positivity is Everything) franchise which has stores in Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania. I placed an order on their website for pickup and selected to pay in store. My husband went to pick up the order. The employee who took the debit card to process the payment said their computer crashed and then put the card through again. I immediately saw that both charges came through on the card. My husband mentioned this to the manager on duty, Alize Kerr, and she assured him that the initial one will drop off since the computer crashed. I’m in banking so I didn’t believe that for one second. I got so irritated by this and the fact that they didn’t want to rectify this in the moment and reverse the first charge, that I lost my appetite and at this point the pizza was cold, so my husband gave the pizza back. Alize Kerr cancelled the order and could not provide any proof of refund. At this point, she is confirming with 100% guarantee that both charges will drop off. She told us to come in the next morning to see if they can fix it then. She gave us the district managers name with no contact info just in case. The next day my husband returned to the store and encountered the manager on duty at that time by the name of Paula. She said there was nothing she could do because they were still pending. After my husband left the store, I called the store for further clarification because both charges were still in the pending status. I spoke with Paula again, and she said that if the charges end up posting to contact the store and they will look into what happened and if they’re still in pending status by Friday, to contact them as well. Well, surprise, both charges posted!!! My husband and I went back into the store on 1/29/26 to try and rectify it. Paula was there again being far from positive. She “looked into it” and said she sees the one charge and that a refund should’ve been issued but hasn’t been. Here’s the kicker, she shrugged her shoulders and said she won’t do anything about it. At this point, they have committed fraud. They double charged my account with no product or service in return. My husband and I were appalled at the lack of customer service skills and the unwillingness to correct a situation gone wrong. How can a company hire an employee with a title who’s very job is to lead, oversee and correct mishaps, and have this employee be the furthest thing away from wanting to do just that?! We were trying to explain that we used our debit card, which is as good as cash, and that she can give us cash back if that’s easier or even a free order for next time. She said no to all options. She didn’t even apologize. See, she wasn’t interested in resolving anything. She was very interested in being combative and not doing right by the customer. She raised her voice and we then raised our voice. She called us rude. Yes, apparently we are rude because we are trying to convince a manager that we should get a refund for duplicate charges and no pizza. What did she want us to say?: ok thank you! How silly! She wanted to avoid rectifying the situation so badly, that she called the police to get us out of the store. How childish! Honestly what a toddler! This is definitely not someone that should have the title of manager, let alone be employed there representing your brand. We are truly appalled and stunned. We will never return to this location. I have now made a complaint with the BBB, a corporate complaint and a complaint with my bank in hopes of getting my money back. Dominos Team PIE, shame on you for allowing this kind of behavior at one of your stores. Clearly, your mantra of Positivity is Everything is not something you stand behind and employ. Your franchise should reconsider their name to be Team PIN (Positivity is Non-Existent).
