  A cross between a lofi Japanese ramen shop and neighborhood hole in the wall offering incredibly inventive cocktails. Don't sleep on the Shrimp Naruto.

  Insanely good ramen! So flavorful and very cool vibe. An affordable Michelin star restaurant, you can’t go wrong. Made a reservation beforehand we had no problem being seated even after calling ahead saying we’d be a little late. Highly recommend!!

  came here a few months ago with a reservation and the hostess was rude though our server was nice. they’re strict on how much time youre allowed, which would be fine if most of the time wasn’t spent waiting for the food. we ordered almost immediately upon being seated but our food didn’t arrive until the last 15 min of our allotted time. The couple next to us who had already ordered by the time we were seated got their food just a few minutes before us and were also given a 15 minute warning

  I dream of the pork belly ramen! We used to enjoy it all the time when we lived in DC. Their soft boiled eggs are perfection, and the broth is so delicious. When we visit DC, it’s guaranteed we will enjoy a meal at Toki Underground. The last time we were in we explained to the server how our first date in DC was at Toki. They rolled the red carpet out for us. It was such a great time. I look forward to our next visit.

  So disappointing. Visited DC for the weekend and made a reservation here based on one of Guy Fieri’s YouTube videos. The space was insanely small and uncomfortable. I ordered the chicken buns and toki classic ramen. The chicken was cold and you had to assemble the bao bun yourself. The pork in the ramen was bland and dry along with my ramen having so much kale in it. The noodles were rubbery(uncooked) and it was basically like a bad insta ramen. The broth had a garlic taste to it and was nothing special what so ever. The service was not friendly and you feel like you have to be quick to eat your meal. Would not recommend the drive out there.
