  Tried some new food items today. Did not like the cold duck. The tempura was good but you do not get much in an order. The curry chicken needed more flavor or spice or heat, anything really. The Dan Dan noodle bowl was really good though.

  Rude server, was not understanding of diatary restrictions, brought the check while we were still in the middle of eating, gave herself a tip without asking us what we wanted to tip first.

  Pretty mid. Stood at the front door for a while before being seated. Ordered the signature Lamen and the broth very much tasted like instant noodles, although the noodles themselves had a pretty good texture. Karaage was better but still just ok. It was an expensive meal for the quality of what we got. I just hoped for more from a restaurant in a prime DC location. It wasn't bad but I don't think I'd necessarily recommend it unless other nearby places are too busy. It also looked like the toilet malfunctioned while we were there with other guests trying to notify the staff and being brushed off.

  I was at Chinatown, DC yesterday and chose this restaurant for dinner based on the reviews. We tried vegetarian steamed dumplings and Buddha style Lamen which is a soup noodles. Both were ultimate. l felt so light and fresh after a long walk at Cherry Blossom Festival. I highly recommend this restarsnt for quality of food which is very rare

  I left a $5 tip, but I immediately sensed that the waitress was upset. She snatched the payment terminal, refused to let me sign, and changed the tip amount without my consent. This was very unprofessional. I won’t be returning; one star is well deserved.
