  I really wanted to leave better rating for Peacock Cafe because the food is truly outstanding. The menu is creative and unique—where else can you find a curry lamb burger? The brunch options are just as impressive, offering both flavorful and healthy dishes. Unfortunately, the service is a gamble. My first visit was excellent all around, which made me excited to bring my family back. This time, while the food was still amazing, the service was very disappointing. It took a long time just to place our order, drinks weren’t refilled, and we had to ask multiple times for water. The only check-in we received was when our plates were being cleared. It’s a shame, because the food deserves better service. With so many great restaurants nearby, I’m not sure we’ll return. I did share my feedback with the manager, who seemed to genuinely care—but this was our honest experience.

  Stopped for dinner while in Georgetown and throughly enjoyed the experience. My family had the crab cakes (excellent with little filler), filet, tuna salad, and grouper (pictured). All of the items were prepared perfectly. The restaurant was packed which made it a little noisy but it is nice to see diners out and about having a good time.

  Let me just say - Peacock Cafe is a standout from the food and drinks alone, but the service and management is what takes it above and beyond. The manager greeted us and personally brought us to our table at the start, which set the tone for the evening. I informed him of my gluten allergy, and he went through all of the options on the menu that were safe for me in a thorough manner. It’s one of the only non-dedicated gluten free restaurants where I’ve felt so safe with my allergy. My gluten free pasta was phenomenal, and the rosewater cocktail was absolutely delicious. Our NYE dinner was incredibly special with Peacock Cafe, and we’ll definitely be back for many more occasions

  Peacock Cafe in Georgetown is a must. The mint lemonade was so fresh and vibrant, exactly what you want on a nice day out. The Sophie Loren sandwich was delicious, and the coleslaw on the side had a perfectly tangy, acidic kick that rounded out the meal beautifully. Charming atmosphere, lovely presentation. Already planning my next visit! 🥪🍋
