  My family and I had such an incredible experience at Morton’s Steakhouse that I just had to share. From the moment we walked in, everything felt elevated, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. The ambiance was classic and elegant without feeling stuffy, and every detail made the night feel special. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly cooked steaks, rich flavors, and sides that honestly could have stolen the show on their own. You can really tell they take pride in both quality and presentation. But what truly made our night unforgettable was our server, Jerry. He was an absolute sweetheart. Attentive without being overbearing, incredibly kind, and genuinely made us feel taken care of the entire evening. He anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and added such a warm, personal touch to the experience. It’s rare to come across service like that. If you’re thinking about going, do it. And if you’re lucky enough to get Jerry as your server, you’re in for an even better night.

  Been 3 times in the past month, one of the best staple steakhouses left in DC. The entire experience is top notch. From being greeted throughout entirety of the meal and desserts couldn’t be better. Go for the 10oz Waygu filet instead of regular filet, 100x better. You won’t regret it. Lots of wine selections, great whiskeys too. When the warmer weather hits, sit on the patio.

  Thank You all, hostess Jinelle, Manager Tia, Staff Jeremy and Alexandria!!! Our first time in Washington DC and we sat we ate and we enjoyed. Let me start with Jinell our Hostess wonderful energy made us feel right at home thank you! Jeremy and Alexandria the greatest staff members ever, right away Jeremy took the reign and made our experience worth every minute of our time Alexandria was in the loop not missing a beat and running with our every whim then came Tia the Manager wonderful beautiful and very hospitable, thank you all for making our night so special. As for the food Excellent cheers to the Chefs ! Mortons is an excellent place food excellent staff excellent Manager excellent hostesses excellent. By the way area for cigars and drinks excellent. Thank you all !!! Beautiful wonderful great.

  Our first visit to Morton’s The Steakhouse was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived for our reservation, we felt genuinely welcomed and valued as guests. The atmosphere was refined yet inviting, setting the perfect tone for a memorable evening. Our server, Jerry, was truly outstanding. His kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism elevated the entire dining experience. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort — even having a phone charger readily available when I needed one. It’s rare to encounter service that is both so warm and so polished. The food itself was equally impressive. Every dish arrived hot, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. Each bite reflected the level of care and culinary excellence that Morton’s is known for. We were also pleasantly surprised by how present and engaged Todd, the General Manager, was throughout the evening. He made a point to personally check in on guests, ensuring everyone was enjoying their experience, while also showing clear support and attentiveness toward his team. That level of leadership truly shows in the quality of service delivered. From the seamless check-in to the impeccable service and outstanding cuisine, our entire experience exceeded expectations. If this first visit is any indication, Morton’s has certainly gained returning guests in us. We look forward to dining here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an elevated and memorable steakhouse experience.

  Jerry is our go to server whenever we dine at Morton's on Connecticut Ave. Our table is always prepared for us just the way we prefer. Every need is anticipated before we have a chance to politely ask for something...it's old school charm and professionalism which is so rare today (even in many fine dining establishments). Jerry exudes professionalism and efficiency...with a dose of compassion and genuine interest in his customers. The management team and front desk personnel are outstanding..they welcome us back each time and drop by our table to catch up and to ensure our dining experiences meet our needs. We can't wait to go back (already have our next reservation) in a few weeks. This team is amazing and I hope corporate is aware of their level of excellence, and that they are recognized in some meaningful manner.
