  I had a very disappointing experience with HANGRY JOE’S carryout. The customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment I placed my order, the staff had an attitude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. Good customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately this place completely missed the mark. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting basic respect and professionalism.

  Mia was amazing! She did great suggesting food for us and seriously gave the best customer service! The food was excellent but Mia made it top tier!!!!

  The cashiers attitude was rude and disgusting she was so nice to the person in front of me assuming he was a regular but when I got to the front to order her whole demeanor changed and she slammed everything in the process of making my order I won’t be spending my money here anymore

  Probably won’t eat here again after going in the location. We ordered from here before on uber and the Sando was good so I went over to order at the location tonight. Never again. From the bad smell to the cluttered environment I immediately became concerned about the quality of the food. First off, it smelled bad. A dank funk like an old gas station bathroom that’s kind of clean but maybe there’s a moisture issue or the mop water was dirty. There were no other customers when I came in but it still took over 20 min to get my small order, over which time that smell made me loose my appetite. Eventually they dropped some chicken and the funk was covered by what smelled like old dirty deep fryer grease. The decor makes no sense. I think it’s a franchise so it has the seemingly expensive corporate elements which are completely downplayed by what I can only describe as cheap hood Chinese takeout decor: printed out pictures of menu items taped to the wall despite already having corporate signage and big TV menu screens. The counter barely had room because if an old laptop, multiple un matching plants in plastic drink cups and torn up printed menus taped to the little bit of remaining space. You have LED menus so why are their half torn up menus taped to the counter?!?! The kitchen looks like a hoarders closet in complete disarray with stuff that should be hidden from the customers just randomly stacked up on top of things. The 2 employees were dressed in random leisure ware and looked sloppy. The main Hangry Joe people should visit and reprimand this place for how they are conducting business. As far as food, after the 20 min wait I drove 5 blocks home and the food was already lukewarm warm to cold. Didn’t it just come out the deep fryer or was it sitting around? The sando and fries were tasty but do not get the mac n cheese. It’s basically old Kraft mac n cheese that they seemingly put some fresh cheddar on top of and microwaved to melt. It tasted off and was a rubbery texture. Nasty. On another note, a coupe of weeks ago I wanted something sweet around 1am so I ordered a cookies & cream milkshake from there through Uber Eats. I paid extra for whipped cream but didn’t get any. Literally everywhere makes these with vanilla ice cream but they made it with chocolate. Yes, there are Oreo style cookies blended in but that doesn’t turn the ice cream chocolate or actually taste like chocolate. Disappointing over all. Would never get a shake there again. Plus, they have Pepsi products. If I’m going to drink soda I drink coke so that’s disappointing as well. Last thing: of the numerous TVs being used as menus (6 or 7) one was showing an R rated straight to video style urban drama dropping more expletives than a Sexyy Redd song. Other than me, there was a group that had come in with a baby and 4 young teens who had to sit there listening to that. This in conjunction with the fry cook blasting music in the kitchen so you have 2 audio sources competing, making the 20 minute wait that much worse. Either have music or the TV. Pick one. If you’re a franchise make sure you’re playing non offensive programming. Maybe I’d still order from them on Uber Eats had I not spent time in there, but I can’t unsmell it. Won’t be eating there again.

  Tried them out for the first time today wasn’t too bad …., I wasn’t too impressed with the Mac and cheese….. chicken was pretty good but they need to use containers to package it because the sauce went through the paper bag the food fell out into the plastic bag and made a mess….. the best thing is that strawberry passion tea that I will get again for sure……. And to the lady that was fixing my drink you can’t be watching a comedy show on your phone while working fixing people stuff not good business
