The employees don’t seem to understand that customers at a pharmacy are patients who need medicine, and are so difficult about answering questions or giving info about when a prescription will be ready. They just say you’ll get a text message, but then they entered my phone number incorrectly so the only way I knew my prescription was ready was because I called to check. Really miserable experience waiting a day longer than needed.

Oh, and for the security guard to tell the employee to “watch her to be sure she doesn’t take anything.” The sign says that the self checkout is for “about 15 items.” Regardless of the “Safeway policy” it doesn’t seem to be reason to treat a customer with such hostility.
