  My boyfriend and I found this place on Google thinking it was a smaller place and just wanting a hot chocolate, nothing big. When we found out it was a fancier restaurant we didn't mind so we went into make sure that it wasn't so fancy we had to reserve a table. The greeter said no, then handed us a menu and said "you might wanna look at the menu to make sure you're in the right place" in a super condescending way. She had no reason to treat us like that without judging us beforehand and deeming us too low class to be there. It was incredibly rude. I don't know this woman's name but she was a tall black woman with braids. We wanted to order a dessert anyway, but I'm glad we didn't. We don't wanna give our money to a place with rude staff. Do better please.

  Probably the best dining experience we’ve ever had. Drinks 10/10, appetizers 10/10, entree 10/10, dessert 10/10, waitstaff 100/10!!!! Especially Rose the most heart warming, inviting and hilarious bartender/ server ever. The owner was caring, walked around and created relationships with all guests. New favorite restaurant by far. You HAVE to go here!!! Cannot recommend it enough.

  We stopped in here for lunch today and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Rose! From the second we walked in the door it was such a warm & welcoming experience. The food was amazing! We got steak and eggs, and a Cesar salad and both were 10/10! Definitely will be back if we are ever in the DC area again.

  Wow! I hadn’t been to this restaurant in ten years (celebrated my 27th here). When my husband made reservations for us to have date night here I checked the menu and was immediately excited about all the options - vegetarian included. When we arrived, we were greatly warmly and throughout the evening had multiple people checking in on us, keeping the table clean, ensuring our needs were met, and always wore a smile. The icing on the cake was my husband requested a blend of two separate entrees and they accommodated, creating a customized menu item that was delicious. I typically don’t order an appetizer, entrée, and dessert, but I had to taste everything and was not disappointed! Our entire experience was a 10 out of 10! My girlfriends and I are already planning a trip back!
