    Today I was in The store getting some bacon and this lady said the Rudest thing to this young man who worked for the store. I can tell he was locked into filling his order(s) and was oblivious to her trying to get through the tight isle. She forced her way through saying nasty things. I could tell she’d startled him…. Later as I as headed to check out I watched her hit the roof again when he said to her as she walked by, “I apologize, I didn’t see you! You would have thought he said something about her in a Derogatory fashion, but I’m glad I heard it. Good job training your safe to apologize and be professional. I’ll continue to spend my money there. Shout out to Mr. Wanda in Self Service.

    I have sent my letter of complaint to you’re corporate office and this owner of 1345 park road why haven’t I received an email phone call or anything to resolve this issue of what happened to my mother I’m in disbelief of how long time customers are being treated like this doesn’t matter

    Urgent: Wrongful Accusation, Harassment, and Mistreatment of My Mother by Giant Food Store Employees To Whom It May Concern, My name is [Ebony Avents ], and I am writing to request your urgent assistance regarding a serious incident involving my mother at a Giant Food store. She was wrongfully accused, harassed, and publicly humiliated by store staff in a manner that was entirely unprofessional, discriminatory, and deeply disturbing. On [December 5th in between the hour of 5pm to almost 6 pm ], employees from the Loss Prevention department approached my mother and accused her of stealing or being involved in a loss prevention case. My mother was confused, frightened, and devastated, as she has never been involved in any such behavior. When I was on FaceTime with my mom , I spoke directly with an employee over the phone and clearly explained that they were mistaken. I also asked them to provide the alleged suspect’s picture and name they never provided the information or proof so we could confirm that this was not my mother. Despite this, the staff continued to harass, interrogate, and treat my mother with disrespect, instead of apologizing or correcting their error. Their behavior caused emotional distress, embarrassment, and unnecessary humiliation for an innocent woman. 1345 park-road Nw Washington DC Giant food store This incident reflects: Negligence in verifying identity Improper training of loss prevention staff Harassment and disrespect toward customers A failure to follow appropriate investigation procedures Possibly racial profiling or biased misconduct (if applicable) My mother deserves a full investigation, a formal apology, and assurance that no other innocent customer will be treated in this manner again. I am requesting the following: A complete review of the actions of all employees involved Access to the report, footage, or documentation related to the supposed incident Clear accountability for the wrongful accusation A formal written apology from Giant Food corporate Policy clarification regarding how loss prevention identifies and approaches customers Assurance that Giant Food will implement training to prevent wrongful accusations in the future I strongly believe this situation deserves public attention. No family should endure humiliation due to careless or biased behavior by store staff. I am requesting your assistance in bringing this matter to light so that my mother can receive justice, and so other customers are protected from such mistreatment.

    Fine grocery store usually but lately we've noticed several instances of spoiled food on the shelves. Twice this month we've seen spoiled inflated packs of vacuum-packed meat and once accidentally purchased a bad steak (the best buy date indicated it should be good). Went today, the cantaloupe we bought (with a best buy date of 12/2) was fermenting and sour. Get it together!

    Horribly stocked shelves and inattentive staff. If empty shelves get restocked on simple items (like veggie chips and pre-cooked grilled chicken), it takes weeks to months — if they get restocked at all. Every employee at customer service gives the same boilerplate answer: "I don't know." or "It's been discontinued." I now have to shop in the suburbs to get items I used to get across the street at Giant.
