  I have been visiting this Giant location on and off for the past few years. The quality of the produce and the items I normally buy there are pretty good. The last couple of times though has been a great disappointment. Last time I walked into giant I bought a cake from the display for a birthday occasion and after I take it home and have some part of it, I noticed that the cake was baked over a week ago almost 2 weeks. Today, I was shopping for some deli meat and the bonus savings did not show up on some of the items and when I asked for help, I waited over half an hour, and then I gave up and paid full price. It is disappointing to see a good brand get severely mismanaged.

  It’s never no help in the balloon area , when I need someone there’s always store managers hanging out talking at customer service it’s ridiculous I been in the neighborhood for 3 years and I could never get here in the balloon area

  This is the worst supermarket in DC! They hired these 2 aggressive & rude security guards ladies (Spanish & African American) who in addition to hook an orange sticker, also order shoppers to open hand bags & back packs @exit assuming they might steal something. This is insane, I saw some people choosing not to shop there. They usually have a regular security guard with a uniform not in regular clothes like these 2, who just hook an orange sticker but don’t order to open people bags like if something had been stolen. There are cameras there if they want to know they just have to check cameras instead of opening shoppers bags! That’s very disrespectful & intrusive!
