- KKKiraNov 2, 20251.0I went today and it was a waste of time. Even though it would be convenient I am not shopping here again. I asked the employee behind the meat counter if he could check to see if there were any organic chicken breasts left since there were none on the shelf. Instead of checking the back he checked all the shelves and coolers (guess he didn’t believe me) and then finally gave up and said he would check the back. I wasn’t going to spend more time waiting so I decided to go to another store. As I was leaving a security person demanded to check my bag. I commented that had never happened before and she got an attitude and tried to show me a posted sign about bags. Even though I unzipped my backpack she didn’t even bother look in it. She noticeably did not check the bags of anyone else who was leaving at the same time. Interesting.

The person working at the counter was having a conversation with another worker. While having to wait for them to finish their conversation, the worker at the counter was quite disrespectful when I tried to order a piece of salmon. This happened while I was in the store between 11:30 and 12:15. While I never believe in "the customer is always right" I did find the worker's attitude distasteful.

It had the nicest manager and staff, even though they struggled to maintain inventory. Where are they now? Now we have products that are already prepped for people who never want to cook, and prices that compete with what you’d pay to go out to eat in a restaurant. No wonder Trader Joe’s is getting all the business.
