  Food was excellent. The service was friendly and food came out quickly once in. It took more time than I would say is typical, and actively getting a servers attention, to get an initial order in, order dessert at the end, and get the bill. Still, I would say that did not detract from the overall experience, and may have been a fluke of the evening. We split an appetizer, two mains (not pictured are the beef and lamb meat pies which is too bad because they were great), and a pot of chai tea with dinner, and then a couple of desserts with cappuccinos after. Do get a pot of tea. Only get that much food if you can take leftovers home- everything looked so good we had to try as much as possible and would go that route if you can.

  Such a lovely restaurant! My friend and I were looking for a place to sit for a bit to work and study, and this was a nice spot to stay at. Of course this is more of a restaurant than a cafe so we did not expect outlets or WiFi, but the atmosphere was great and the teas were delicious. We tried the rooibos and the chai, and we were very pleased with both. The service was also quite amiable, very warm and pleasant. The music was quite calming and great to lock in. I will definitely come back to try the food, everything looked delicious from afar!

  Excellent restaurant! We had lunch - ordered the royal laghman and the lamb pie, plus the honey cake and a pudding - and everything was delicious. Our waitress was also excellent, very welcoming and knew her stuff.

  this place is SO AMAZING! the serving staff was very attentive, it’s in a great convenient location right next to the metro, the restaurant is decorated so beautifully, and the food was jaw droppingly good. we made a reservation for three and shared plates, and our favorites were the chicken uyghur pilaf, the spring rolls, and the sour & spicy potatoes. definitely make sure to visit this spot!

  We came at 6:50 on a Friday night without a reservation and I was not expecting to get sat right away. We got to the host stand and she asked how many, we said 2 and she replies “no, sorry”. No offer to wait no offer to put the name down and she just starts seating others. After the third person I interjected to ask if we could put our name down. She goes "give me a second" seats someone and replies no. Now I was not expecting a 5 star greeting but usually you will get an explanation or at least the offer to put the name down. There was also another pair of 2 sitting on the bench in the waiting area clearly not getting sat for a reservation. Now one can only guess why one pair of people would be allowed to wait and another wouldn't even be offered but I digress. I don’t have to get told 3x they don’t want us to eat there. I won’t be back.
