The service was shameful, the steaks were bad, the ribeye was lined with sinew and a lot of fat. It took them 3 attempts to cook 4 steaks to medium rare. The food took 2 hours to be served, the food was clearly sitting in the kitchen as it was cold. As we were a large table the tip was guaranteed so the server did not check on us even once.

The food was as advertised. Upscale, tasty, and expertly made/presented. But let's face it, you go to a steak house like Del Frisco's as much for the experience as for the food and I found the experience to be well worth the coin. The atmosphere was sexy, sauve, and sophisticated. I found the service to be one of personal care and brand awareness. Take a date there, go there for a celebratory meal (I was there for a bachelor dinner), or be grown and experience their bar at happy hour (their bar was definitely a vibe and well stocked). Make the splurge and treat yo self. Life can only be lived once and you should definitely enjoy this experience.
What a birthday dinner! My friends and I enjoyed dinner for my 35th Birthday on 11/29. I had the Rock Shrimp for starters, the Lobster Tail, Mash & Spinach. The attendants were nice, they checked in on us frequently. Our only concern was the table, it was a little unleveled causing some rocking, which immediately caught our attention. The attendant let us know that all the tables were this way and they were working to have them replaced or leveled not completely sure and after 3 glasses of Prosecco the whole room became unleveled so lol. Overall great experience. The birthday cheesecake was amazing! We left, happy and full and floating! Thanks to the Del Frisco DC team for a memorable 35th birthday!
Stopped by Del Frisco’s on Saturday for a birthday dinner. The ambiance was great—low, intimate vibes. We were seated on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Conrad and the CityCenter tree, which set the tone nicely.
Unfortunately, the service and food fell far short of expectations. We started with a round of drinks, which ended with the server spilling someone else’s drink down the back of my outfit and onto the floor. There was no apology, no cleanup, and no replacement—he simply looked back and walked away.
I ordered a medium-rare steak and was served what can only be described as a hockey puck: dry, overcooked, and completely unseasoned. It didn’t melt in my mouth at all. When I notified the server, I was told the kitchen was closing. My friend attempted to order food as well and was met with the same response, so she opted for another drink instead—a lemon drop. The drink never arrived, yet it appeared on the bill. When we pointed this out, the waiter giggled and removed the billfold.
The moral of the story: an apology or simple acknowledgment of poor service goes a long way, especially at a restaurant where there are certain expectations for service and quality. While my friend still enjoyed celebrating her birthday, it’s the small details that truly matter.
Isiah later called to follow up and worked to resolve the situation, which I genuinely appreciate. Thank you for the follow-up—it did not go unnoticed

This review is solely to recognize the manager, Isaiah, for his exceptional customer service!
I placed a DoorDash order today at around 1:30 PM totaling about $70. I didn’t receive my food until almost 4 PM—not because of the restaurant, but because the first DoorDash driver who arrived around 2 PM stole my order. They never delivered it or updated the status, so the app continued to show that the restaurant was still preparing my food. Because of that, DoorDash reassigned the order to another driver who arrived around 2:50 PM, waited, and then was told that the food had already been picked up.
I immediately called the restaurant to figure out what was going on. While I was speaking with a young lady, DoorDash reassigned the order a third time because, on their end, it still looked like the restaurant hadn’t completed it—even though the first driver had already taken it.
The young lady put me on hold to check with the manager, and that’s when Isaiah got on the phone. He was incredibly pleasant and polite. He asked what I originally ordered and even offered to have the restaurant remake everything and pay for it himself. I let him know that DoorDash had already sent another driver since their system still showed the order as in progress. He told me to give the new dasher his name when they arrived so he could hand them the order, and he even called me back afterward to update me that it was ready and on the way.
I truly appreciate Isaiah going above and beyond to fix a situation that wasn’t the restaurant’s fault at all. Meanwhile, DoorDash refused to take any real action. They basically said, “Well, the restaurant is remaking the food, so it’s fine.” No, it’s not fine. Their system should clearly show who the original driver was and flag or suspend their account for theft.
Thank you so much, Isaiah, for your kindness, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. Happy holidays!
