- ANAllison NielsenAug 2, 20185.0I love Cava so much it should probably be illegal, and this location gives me all the warm, fuzzy feelings inside. If you haven't been to Cava, think Chipotle, but Mediterranean. You pick a base, you pick the meat, you pick the toppings and then you pick the dressing. Now, I've had quite a few different proteins but the one I always go back to is the chicken. It's a staple, and is almost always perfectly cooked. I also like the spicy meatballs, but they are deceptively hot so I don't tend to get them all the time. For toppings, nothing beats the cabbage and the pickled onions -- and the olives, don't forget the olives! I love the yogurt dill sauce. Portions here can get pretty big (but they are noticeably smaller during the rush of lunch hour) so you could easily make two meals out of one order. Basically, Cava, I love you. Thank you for being you and for existing for my tummy.
- DADeric AlkurabiJun 12, 20185.0Employee/General Manager was very accommodating. Went with my dog (6lb poodle) but also realize that at times I can't bring a dog into an indoor food establishment. The GM met me outside with a menu, took my order and set me up, almost like a drive-thru. Going forward I will use the Cava app now that I realize my error but the customer service was refreshing compared to what you would normally get around DC. Again, the GM was awesome and I could not say enough about him and his assistance!
