BOURBON STEAK
2800 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC
I had a beautiful dining experience at Bourbon Steak inside the Four Seasons Georgetown. Although it’s known as a steakhouse and my client truly enjoyed his steak, I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the vegetarian options were.
I ordered the truffle mac and cheese and it was outstanding — the pieces of black truffle were rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. I also tried the mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and beet salad, and each dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. As a vegetarian, I felt completely satisfied and well taken care of, which is not always the case at steakhouses.
Beyond the food, the overall experience was exceptional. The service was warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. The ambiance felt elegant yet welcoming — almost like being in a refined but cozy family setting. Even the small details, like the lotion in the restroom, reflected the quality and care behind the experience.
Walking there in the beautiful Georgetown weather and enjoying such a well-curated meal made the evening feel abundant and special. I left feeling satisfied, grateful, and truly impressed.
Highly recommend — whether you’re going for steak or vegetarian options, the experience delivers.

Food was pretty good but my medium rare steak came out well done and the replacement came out medium well. Unacceptable for a steak house. Especially for a $90 steak.

I am disappointed to share that my friends and I did not have a good experience at Bourbon Steak last night. While our server was kind, it took over an hour and a half to receive our meals with no explanation as to why. It seemed like there was some issue in the kitchen because no tables around us were receiving their meals either. When the food finally came out, it was okay but not worth the wait or the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to celebrate a special day as they did not make us feel attended to.

Reserved for 50th Birthday Dinner. They left a special note signed by people I'm not familiar with. Our waiter was pretty mid. Checked on us rarely/not often enough for my liking. Food was great. Everything was tasty. Some pricing was crazy and some pricing I understood. 2 scallops for $32 was the craziest, but they were the best tasting scallops I ever had, though. 😂🤣 That Australian 6 oz steak was the softest steak I ever had cooked to perfection. The bone marrow was better the next day when I put it in the oven and added some salt.
The atmosphere was very smug and I did not feel that I belonged there. It was political DC, not regular life DC.
The drinks were nice. Valet parking was $30...Tipped an extra $20. Bill was $450...gave a $100 tip. So say about $550/$600 total. She was happy, so I was good. Just my personal notes of how it went.
Side note - What was all that Black Symbolism about? I would like to know one day. Virtue Signalling much??

My wife and I had a great time at the Bourbon Steak! We made reservations and was seated within 10 minutes of checking in. The ladies at the front were very nice and beautiful (didn't get her name, but she was talland brown skin).
We were seated and the only thing negative I can say is the seats we sat in were way too close to the people next to us. We could hear every detail of their conversation, which was annoying. Especially if the guy next to us is doing a horrible job on his first date with this young lady. It was cringe.
Our server was very nice and super busy, but he made it work! The other servers assist your server in making sure your cup is always full and if you need anything. They understand this is a popular place and everyone needs to help one another.
I ordered the 14 oz. New York Strip. This was good and plentiful! I ordered the classic bourbon for a drink, it was well-balanced and good. My wife ordered the lab chops with potatoes, she was quiet most of the time so that means it was good lol
