Came for a late lunch on a Monday in January and as expected the restaurant was not busy yet despite the lack of people, I was forgotten about and sat without anyone coming over to me for 15+ minutes. During this time I saw a waiter get on his phone and scroll away, when he looked up he saw me and told someone to come take my order… I should have walked away but I stayed and the server who came over was apologetic. The lunch special was ok. The chorizo had pieces of twine cooked IN it which is unacceptable, it is also smaller than the piece of bread it comes in. The churros were dry. The croquetas were very good. There is food left out on the counter on the bar and there were various flies touching that food which is unsanitary. The real kicker is that you’re given a check to pay with a QR code however you’re not told that you’d be charged $1 to pay in this way. When I told my server I’ll pay the regular way and handed her my card she asked what was wrong with the QR code and I said I didn’t want to pay a fee to pay. This is shady and it should be disclosed. I won’t be returning.

We had a vegan diner in our group, and Boqueria was fantastic with accommodating to those dietary restrictions and making sure there was enough food he could eat. I ordered the "Classics" set menu for us all, which allowed us to eat family style and have (more than) plenty of food! Everything was delicious and made it easy to have the staff preselect the options for us rather than ordering a ton of different dishes. Great option for a work outing.
