Came here for lunch on what was a very busy Sunday afternoon and had a great lunch. Our server, Kennedy, was incredibly attentive. She helped guide us through the menu and noticed our empty glasses before we even did. The drinks/food were great, patio was clean, and the service was wonderful. I am excited to come back. Thank you to Kennedy for making this such a great afternoon meal.

Being a larger sized restaurant in a good location probably has a lot to do with their success here.
The food was mediochre and the service was Meh... very meh.
We sat at a high top in the bar area in order to watch a baseball game that they said they'd put on when we arrived.
The never did.
The "Irish fish & chips" was a let down. Fish batter was (too) thick and was overcooked and tasted burnt.
The fish was overcooked to the point of being rubbery.
And we had to go the bar to order anything, while a multitude of servers came and went right in front of and around us.
The manager stood at the entry area seemingly very happy with the whole situation; good for them that work there I guess.
Not a great customer or dining experience.
Non-plussed with this place to say the least.
Nice wrapper....
Weak fundamentals.

We came here on a whim after a long day of site seeing and were very happy and impressed with our experience. We were immediately seated with a large group (7) and the service was top notch. The food was amazing and flavorful as well as plentiful and extremely well priced. I highly recommend the blue cheese burger and noble salad. The have a wonderful beer selection too!!

I arrived at the restaurant before 5:30. It was fully booked, so I tried to sit outside and order my food at the bar. I was told I would need to pick up the food from the bar myself.
After about 15 minutes, I went to the bar to pick up my food. The person who ordered before me received their meal, but I waited another 20 minutes and no food came out for me. I waited for almost 30 minutes after making the order before the staff went back to the kitchen to ask what happened to it.
It is ridiculous. No matter how good the food is, I shouldn't have to wait that long. It is unacceptable that the order was not placed and nobody gave me a heads-up. It was such a bad experience and ruined my day.
It's ridiculous that the order wasn't put in at all, and after they found out, they made me wait at the bar for another 10 minutes. It's such a bad experience. I really regret putting my tips on this order. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here. They didn't show any regret or attitude toward trying to make this up whatsoever. I didn't receive any apology either.

We had a great experience at Elephant & Castle in DC, and a big part of that was our waitress, Nicole. She was spunky, a little feisty (in the best way), and completely on top of everything.
She made sure we got our orders quickly and checked on us often—more than the typical “once and disappear” you get at a lot of places. What really stood out was how helpful her recommendations were. She steered us away from ordering a shareable poutine and suggested the side instead, which was absolutely the right call—there’s no way we could have finished the large. She also recommended getting the dressing on the side for my salad, and that was spot on.
Nicole was attentive, efficient, and genuinely cared about our experience. She treated my elderly parents with kindness and respect, which meant a lot to me. At the same time, she had a confident, no-nonsense attitude that made it clear she knew exactly what she was doing—and she didn’t take any nonsense from anyone.
If you go, definitely ask for Nicole. She made our visit memorable!
