  It was my gf sisters birthday dinner and it was amazing the food was 10/10. Came here for a special occasion and it did not disappoint. The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The sides are large enough to share, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. The service really stood out—attentive without being overwhelming. It is on the pricier side, but worth it for the experience. I’d definitely come back for another celebration.”

  I had a great experience at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse at CityCenterDC — definitely one of the more refined dining spots in the city. The food was solid overall, especially the steak. You can tell they use high-quality cuts and know how to prepare them well. Everything was cooked properly and well-presented, with that classic steakhouse feel. Portions are generous too, so it’s a good place if you’re going all in for a full dinner. Service was good — attentive without being overbearing. The staff was professional and kept everything flowing smoothly, which is exactly what you want at a place like this. The atmosphere is where this place really stands out. It has that upscale, modern steakhouse energy — dim lighting, clean design, and a polished crowd. It feels like the kind of place you go for a business dinner, date night, or special occasion. The overall setting matches the CityCenterDC vibe perfectly, with a very high-end feel.  Overall, it’s a strong choice if you’re looking for a premium steakhouse experience in DC. Not perfect across every category, but still a very enjoyable and worthwhile spot that delivers on quality, service, and atmosphere.

  This was a great experience. Loved the food and appetite the hospitality of the staff. Shot out to Sous CheF TJ for stopping by our table. My wife enjoyed her filet and my duroc karabuto porkchop was one of a kind!! Our waitress Sara was so nice and attentive to us throughout the night. She had great recommendations for dinner and from the bar. It made the birthdays perfect!

  My aunt and I are regular guests at Del Frisco’s, and during a recent visit we unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with another guest seated at the bar. The situation became extremely disrespectful and uncomfortable, and we were honestly at the point of leaving altogether. What turned the entire evening around was the incredible professionalism and kindness shown by the Chef RJ. He noticed what was happening and immediately stepped in with such genuine care and concern. He went far above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, respected, and valued as guests. Instead of allowing the situation to ruin the night, he reassured us, encouraged us not to let someone else’s behavior take away from our experience, and made sure we were taken care of. That level of hospitality is rare. His professionalism, empathy, and commitment to guest experience reminded us exactly why we continue to return to Del Frisco’s. Employees like him are the true heart of any great establishment. We are incredibly grateful for the way he handled the situation and for the respect he showed us. Because of him, what could have been a terrible evening turned into a reminder of the excellent service we’ve always appreciated here. Thank you for having someone like him on your team.
