Food was great. Service was excellent, but when we went here their AC was broken so we are drenched in sweat while eating. Even the employees are complaining it's hot in there. That's the only disappointing part of our visit.

I don’t usually leave negative comments, but the experience was very disappointing to say the least. My party of 5 just had the classic omakase. Fresh ingredients, but everything was very salty - perhaps too much sauce and/or the chef(s) didn’t taste the sauce. The dish with wagyu was extremely salty. For about $300 per person (5ppl), it was very disappointing. Unfortunately, it felt like the sweetness and saltiness were masking the freshness of each ingredient. The waitress was very attentive, so I didn’t want to make a complaint and I didn’t say anything. But I definitely would NOT recommend the omakase. I also ordered 3 extra rolls, which were decent by comparison. The only best thing about this omakase was desert. If you were to go there, stay away from the omakase - unless you like salty food. I don’t mind paying $300 for omakase, but it felt like i paid $1,500 for the desert at the end.

My experience at Nobu DC was very disappointing and did not live up to the hype. While the fresh sushi was excellent and clearly high quality, the hot dishes fell far below expectations. I opted for their most expensive omakase experience, expecting something memorable, but it turned out to be underwhelming. The sushi chefs appeared to be multitasking and lacked attentiveness. At one point, a chef began describing a dish, then forgot what it was and had to ask someone else what was being served, which diminished the overall experience. The service overall was just okay—nothing particularly special or noteworthy. For a restaurant with Nobu’s reputation and price point, I expected much more. Unfortunately, this was my first time trying Nobu, and based on this experience, it will also be my last.

We were a little underwhelmed after so much hype but we did enjoy our meal. The black miso cod was one of the best fish I’ve ever had, and the tuna tataki was also yummy. The sushi was not very good, especially the rice - we were recommended the yellowtail jalapeño but the rice and fish were all the same mushy texture. But it was definitely a once in lifetime experience and the service, cocktails, and vibe were really nice

Nobu 🇺🇸 🇯🇵 really never disappoints 🔝 the DC location has great ambience, the space is modern and very spacious. The service was above par, the cocktails 🍸 were elegant and the fish 🐠 freshness and preparedness was outstanding ⭐️ I will be returning 🙏🏻
