  So happy this opened in Winsted. The food was ready within 10 minutes and was made so well. I’ve had other dominoes locations barely put any sauce and toppings on the pizza, this location did a great job!

  I’ve ordered from here several times now and honestly, it’s been great every time. The pizza is solid, the service is excellent, and the prices can’t be beat. It’s a Domino’s... you know exactly what you’re getting going into it, and that’s the point. It’s not trying to be the "best pizza in the world", it’s trying to be reliable, affordable, and consistent especially with modifications (which is important when you have food sensitivities like I do), and it absolutely has delivered on that for me. There’s been a lot of chatter around town since it opened from people who just don’t want another chain restaurant in town, which is fair, but let’s be real: the local spots for pizza aren’t exactly unforgettable, and they cost way more. Sometimes you just want something quick, convenient, consistent (and open late) without spending $30 on one pizza. It’s not replacing the local spots, it’s just another convenience option. Every delivery driver I’ve met has been super polite, and the carryout staff have always been friendly and helpful. My food shows up hot, tastes exactly like it should, and the service has been consistently impressive considering how busy they've been. If you're looking for the above, I recommend this location.

  We ordered two large pizzas for pick up so we are not able to rate the atmosphere however, the taste of the pizza for lack of better terms, taste like a wet dog. I’m not sure if it was the dough, the sauce or the cheese, but it has a funk and made it hard to eat, so we will not be going back. Kent Pizza has gone downhill over the years so we were trying something new and now regret that we did. I don’t ever write bad reviews, but this is one we had to speak up about. Hopefully they change whatever it is if they’re putting on these pizzas.

  We used to get Dominos out of Torrington. Winsted branch opening was really convinient news. There was an issue with my first order, but it was resolved by the store manager the next day with full courtesy, and that deserves a positive review. I also dont think also that anyone who's preference is local going to switch to dominos and vise-versa - its completely different experience, neither better than the other, its all a matter of tastes vary between people's preferences. Good luck to the new branch!
