  It’s been several years since I’ve had 5 Guys so decided to give this location in Westport a shot. There was plenty of parking and as we walked in there was only one person ahead of us on the line to order. Placed an order (cashier was helpful) but the wait for the food, well some of the reviews were right. We waited about 20 minutes even though the restaurant wasn’t packed with ppl. The restaurant has an open seating area, clean bathroom and it has plenty of parking. The burgers were good and fries ok just a tad too salty. Overall ok but we would probably come back for the burgers. If you’re hungry and head over there, be prepared to wait. Hopefully the owners take heed to the reviews or recommendations, have a meeting and make the some changes.

  I will never frequent this restaurant again. Their french fries 🍟 were reheated (look under the counter they kept "old fries", the beef patties were tolerable but each time the bread was stone cold. I asked them to reheat and they made a new one for me - same results. I should have followed my instinct and not proceed. UPDATE: Expected a frank conversation about the restaurant AFTER I filled up the form on their site - NO RESPONSE. 01/25/2026

  Great burgers- All the Way. Only cook to one temp- medium well. Best French Fries anywhere! Even a Medium Sized order--You get more than you need!!! A little on the expensive side. 3/12/26. Delicious Patty melt, hot dog and. FRIES!!! Plus free open your own peanuts. But the Service always makes mistakes. Hard to understand his sentences and questions. It took 5 times to agree that the Patty Melt came with cheese and that I wanted fried onions too. Then I wanted mustard and relish on my Hot Dog. I couldn't remember the word for relish. He said it and I said yes thank you that's it. So I sat and waited the normal amount of time for them to cook my order fresh. I enjoyed the burger and then when I opened the Hot Dog it was plain- no condiments. I brought it to the counter- they all look annoyed that I wanted the 2 condiments. The server, now on the grill, also comes over and he says: You asked for plain. I reminded him that he was the one who said Relish to me! At least he apologized and got me the condiments. This happens 2 out of 3 times that I go to this Westport 5 Guys. Please improve your customer service because the FRIES and food is really fantastic!
