I was away on an unexpected work trip and my wife was home with a sick child, so I had ordered a delivery from the app. The food was left outside cold, they didn’t knock like I had asked, and it was over an hour later and there were no fries. What was supposed to be a convenience ended up being a burden. I tried calling corporate but we all know how that goes…and because it’s door dash that performs the delivery through the app, there wansnt much the restaurant could do… So I went in the next day and asked to soak with the manager, Michael. I started to explain the situation, and he said “please don’t worry.” He took care of the inconvenience by comping my original meal in full, he asked if I wanted an extra toppings which he also comped, and his great staff even threw in an extra milk shake… In a world that is severely lacking good leadership and customer service, Michael and his staff went a step above to care for their customers. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way! Thanks West Hartford 5 Guys!

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
