- KBKurtis BrandSep 13, 20251.0This isn’t about this store in particular, just Stop and Shop in general. Grocery stores in order of quality and experience: 1. Whole Foods 2. Big Y 3. Aldi Dead last among all grocery stores, Stop and Shop. The worst experience and I go out of my way and drive miles to avoid Stop and Shop. The atmosphere is depressing and the self checkout is a nightmare. Once I was waiting with everyone else to self checkout and literally every register had a blinking light because they are dysfunctional. I feel sorry for the person who has to work the self checkout line. Only good thing about Stop and Shop is the people working there who are very nice, otherwise, this grocery store chain is the worst.

Jervell and the rest of the staff were so helpful and accommodating. Found a good sale on cases of water so he went grabbed a shopping cart for me. I appreciate the service and looks like I'll be coming back to the store in the near future. Glad to see such great and helpful staff.
