- CMCece M.Feb 9, 20262.0I have the bad luck of always getting a soggy, warm piece of lettuce that looks like a slimy leaf.-whenever I order this for delivery Lettuce is supposed to add crunch and offset the heat in a burger. It just doesn’t look or taste right. I normally take it out and swap it for my own lettuce. I shouldn’t have to do that for a $20 burger. I sent them an email with pictures after it happened three times in a row, and I never even got a reply. Fool me once… You also cannot ask for cold ingredients on the side. They won’t accommodate it. For this reason I don’t order from them often and instead pick up occasionally. It’s unfortunate because the burgers could be really good if they were fresher.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
