I stopped into this Chipotle around 5:10 PM and was shocked at how poorly the store was being run. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet several employees, (all very young) were openly fooling around, talking loudly, and not focused on serving customers. It was hard to tell who, if anyone, was managing the shift because there was no professionalism on display. Most of the food pans were empty at what should be peak dinner time, and customers were being told to wait while staff cooked items that should have already been prepped well in advance. One customer waited nearly 20 minutes because the store had completely run out of carne asada by 5:30 PM. My own order was mishandled even though I read it clearly from my phone. I specifically asked for salsa on the side, and the employee immediately poured it all over my bowl, ruining it. He then tried to give me an additional cup of salsa rather than remaking the order. Thankfully, after realizing the mistake, he apologized and prepared a new bowl, but this level of carelessness shouldn’t happen in the first place. The food was cold, the interior of the store was uncomfortably cold as well, and the overall environment felt rushed and chaotic. Other customers were openly complaining about the service, wait times and temperature of the store. For the price Chipotle charges now, the experience should be far better. Unfortunately, this location is extremely poorly managed and nowhere near the standard this brand used to represent. I won’t be returning.

Thank you to the Asian male worker who took the time to clean the counter tops at the serving stations (they were an absolute mess), even when the young male black employee asked him why he was doing it. This restaurant needs better onsite management because the employees have no sense of urgency or attention to cleanliness for their customers. The management and staff should visit the Chipotle in Fairfield (340 Grasmere Ave). Now that’s a clean and efficiently ran restaurant. Not to mention they don’t skimp on their food portions, unlike this location. Overall this place needs work. Please do better.

I’ve been going here since it opened. I just got it tonight for dinner. I remembered I never reviewed it. I got exactly what I asked for and I got a full burrito bowl. They don’t skimp; they give you what you pay for. The biggest plus is the chips are always fresh. Nothing worse than getting the chips and queso and the chips are stale. I think they are doing a great job!

How has the health dept not shut down this fly pit ? Ive never see a restaurant with so much trash, dirty windows and finger prints everywhere. Absolutely disgusting, if the front door looks like it has t been cleaned in months along with the soda machine, imagine what the kitchen looks like. Flys everywhere just disgusting

The young lady working tonight, 9/3/25 around 10/10:30pm is an absolute boss! Great energy, great service, and made our food perfectly. Her coworker almost took over our order and I had to tell him “No we like her!”. You can also tell the employees have great relationships and are all friendly. What a great atmosphere and amazing service. I wish I got her name!
