    Not good, go to killingly, or putnam price chopper for fresh fruits and vegetables. Aweful produce section for the last 1yr. Vegetable platter smell rotten, fruit is soft and wrinkled, everything is either bruised, smelly, slimey, or wrinkled. Bakery is ok, not great seems a bit stale or gets moldy in a day or two of purchase. Even when I bake my own bread usually last 4 days...

    Okay, I have been shopping for groceries since I was 16--50 yrs. I have learned to help the baggers by arranging my purchases on the belt according to weight-heaviest first to go on the bottom of my reusable bag. Another bag for frozen items, then refrigerated on top of those. Lightweight items in another bag or on top of heavy items, including fruits. Today, I had three bags with me. The cashier put All items in ONE bag. I had 16 items(4 of which were jars of pasta sauce, weighing 1 pound each) ranging in weight and perishability-which should go on top. The bag HAD to weigh 20-25 pounds. I am not a lightweight, but that was ridiculous, considering I had 2 other bags. So, my question is:are these youngsters being trained in every aspect of their job- like, the proper way to bag, or just how to ring up?
