It was about 12 noon on a Saturday so we chose the self checkout line since the cashier lines were very long! We got held up several times when the self checkout machine stopped and yelled out…HELP IS ON THE WAY”. Well it took a while for the person to come over as many folks were having issues. this happened 3 times! We finally got through half of our items and then took everything left on the belt and put it back in our cart and chose the other self checkout area thinking that must be better… wrong!! Still we got caught up several times having to have the attendant clear it and it took about 30 minutes just to check out! We will choose another store next visit! Sorry but you’ve got to update or fix your technology! It was terrible and not a good welcome to Lovely old saybrook! I would expect more from a major supermarket chain!!
