The price was outrageous for poor quality food and service. The manager on duty was of no help when asked if there was a way to rectify the situation.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
