I just had groceries delivered for the first time. I am grateful that the delivery person was able to find my unit, but they forgot the eggs. I called the store, and I’m not sure if I spoke to the manager or not, but the gentleman was very nice about it and told me he had already refunded me. We’ll give it another shot.

It's a very good stop & shop and get all the groceries you need here and pharmacy needs awesome redeem your bottles at this place very friendly customer service.

Came in for Lottery at 6:40 and told it closed. When asked clerk said it could vary sometimes shutdown around 6:30. I asked if lottery service hours were posted anywhere he said only service desk which closes at 7. I believe hours of operation should be posted to and adhere to for customers to be able to know when they can get service. If a service closes earlier than Service Desk that should be noted.
This store is a disappointment and has a serious hygiene issue. First of all, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Whoever is in charge of cleaning them is not doing their job. The last time I went in to use the bathrooms, the toilets were overflowing with fecal matter. I didn't eat anything all day after seeing that. This wasn't the first time. Think about it- the toilets are right next to the deli. That's not okay. I've done quite a bit of online shopping at this store. Their app for checking in almost never works. Or, it does work and they just don't check it. I've waited over 30-45 min on multiple occasions. Last but not least, they will give you whatever is rotting, since you won't be seeing what you're buying until you get home. I bought a 4 pack of blueberry muffins and they were 5 days old and moldy. Gross!

I am beyond disgusted with my recent online delivery experience at the Norwalk Connecticut Avenue location. This is not my first time using this service, and I have never had issues before, which makes this failure even more unacceptable. Poor customer service deserves to be called out, and this is a blatant example of it.
My order was canceled with absolutely no notification—no email, no text, no explanation. I was left waiting for an order that had already been canceled without my knowledge. This is completely unacceptable and reflects a serious breakdown in Stop & Shop’s customer service.
Why offer a service you clearly cannot manage or guarantee? Had I not called to follow up myself, I would have been left in limbo indefinitely. There should be a basic system in place to notify customers of any order delay or cancellation, along with a reason. From a technical standpoint, this is not difficult—you already have customer contact information, including email and phone numbers.
To make matters worse, after this failure on your end, I was forced to resubmit the order, make an additional payment, and now wait 7–10 business days for a refund or credit on the canceled order. This is negligent, unprofessional, and an unacceptable way to conduct business. If zero stars were an option, that is what this experience deserves.
