Often poorly maintained, for a while they didn't even have paper bags at the self check out registers, I guess people stealing 5c bags was more important than customer satisfaction. The self checkout machines are always awful, constantly flagging things for no reason or not scanning properly so they flag you when you put your item in the bag. Often, the little gun things that allow you to avoid them aren't functioning or, sometimes all the stations are shut down for no reason. It's absolutely infuriating
