  Last week I tried to place an order on line with my gift card. For literally hours were spent on line and with 5 different people. The problem was they would not allow me to pick a delivery time on any day. They said there was something wrong on their website and they couldn’t do anything about it. So I did not place the order. NOW they are holding the amount as a credit on line and I can only shop on line to get it. So they are holding over 213.00 as hostage. Gotta start going to another company!! I’m Soo fed up!!

  This store is absolutely amazing!! Clean great atmosphere!!! No really big crowds!! STAFF EFFECTIVE!! MY NEW PLACE TO SHOP!!

  Lived in Connecticut all over the state, 30+ years, mostly in Fairfield, but moved to Middle Haddam only recently. Had an appointment in Newington and still learning the area. After my meeting, had to get couple things. Saw the great 'ol Stop & Shop sign. Despite having no time, when I walked in, I was memoized how fresh the produce, clean, fully stocked shelving was. Had no time, but I had to stop and tour the store. Had to see if the whole store looked as impressive the entrance was. The store was as immaculate top to bottom. I had to get going. Took a pic when I got to my car. Had to tell somebody. I didn't write the store address down either. It took me 2 weeks to find the address. After 30 years, I have shopped many other Stop & Shop grocery stores. Had time for one picture, but finally located the address. It is at 206 Kitts Lane in Newington. I had to tell Google, upper management, and other shoppers; that's why I kept the picture. This grocery, I must say in total honesty, this one store, I would say clearly has the best, hardest working staff to keep that store so well organized and well maintained. I was so impressed overall, I would say do not pass this Stop & Shop by. There's a Floral Department as well as a Pharmacy. Great job Team 206 Kitts Lane. I'll be back soon! And thank you so much for all your hard work. I take customer service very seriously. Great work!!

  Terrible deli department. Machine broken, got skipped twice. Other employee keeps prepping ignores me for almost 20 minutes. Left and went to price chopper.
