  Extremely mediocre for the price. I've been here twice now and it just isn't very good. Didn't review the first time because I figured they were having an off day but it's definitely a patern now. Bread is always stale, eggs are overcooked, and who the hell thinks that putting "hash browns" on the menu means serving hash brown patties?? Those are two very different foods. Anyways the Kielbasa sandwich had legit half a link of baby kielbasa on it, cut thinner than paper. Steak for the steak and cheese omelette was worse than $5 microwaved steak, straight up rubber. Ingredients all taste very cheap, and the utensils were visibly dirty. I remember coming here as a kid, shame what it has turned into.

  Mediocre is the best word I can use to describe the food. The people were nice though

  Good old fashioned diner. The food was good and the service was quick and on the money. We are looking forward to checking out the dinner service and food in the near future.

  Been going here for years. Always a nice atmosphere, and the staff are very attentive. Best breakfast in town.

  I drive 14 miles to get breakfast the way I like it at the New Britain Diner. What they have is options. Lots of options. They are open early serving breakfast and lunch. Here is a random list of some of the things I love about this place. >The New York Sirloin steak and eggs breakfast has a real steak. Not a dried up piece of gristle. >If you don’t fancy home fries, you can swap them for hash brown patties, lettuce and tomatoes, mashed potatoes if it’s later in the day and my favorite, crispy steak fries. >The fajita omelette is awesome. Not your typical omelette. >Try a side of well done bacon. It is addicting. They finish it in the fryer I think. >The ham steak is humongous! Not a thin slice but a thick full size piece of ham. Big enough to share. >You can trade in your pancakes for a waffle. It’s a Belgian waffle with deeper squares that swallow up that butter and sweet syrup. Also, try one for a dessert with ice cream and strawberries. >Dishes you have to try that you may not easily see at other diners. >Big boy breakfast. Huge breakfast ! >Eggs Benedict - 7 different options for eggs Benedict. You also have to try the sautés. A whole page of creative options. Almost big enough for two people. Chicken parm & chicken fettuccine Alfredo are favorites but there are so many others! The house blend coffee is smooth and flavorful. Also, they’re open every holiday featuring the appropriate dinner for the holiday. It’s all served up by a friendly staff., Can you tell I love the place?
