I've been coming here for 3 DECADES and am so sad to see what this restaurant has become. When it was over at the mall they gave you free warm bread with carrot dip– during the height of pandemic when everyone was doing take out, they wouldn't even give us UTENSILS to eat our food in the car with. On my birthday last year the cooks apparently went on vacation together and because of this there were literally three items on the menu, not even entres– I had to get nachos on my birthday. Been back a few times since then, and once they screwed up my order, our food took FOREVER, and the waiter was literally RUNNING around like a chicken with his was cut off (sorry I know we're vegans here), we overheard two other tables making verbal complaints about how long it was taking. Last night was really the final straw for me. Our food took almost TWO HOURS, everyone around us was getting their food, even people who came in after us, which is crazy and it was only about half full in terms of capacity. I ordered the cesar salad, my dad ordered the seitan. He asked to replace the brussel sprouts with extra mashed potatoes because he has to watch his vitamin K. They charged $3 extra for the replacement. They apparently had a late tofu delivery, and then ran out of mashed potatoes and had to make more (this was at 6:30pm), which is why it took almost 2 hours to get our food. Just excuse after excuse, zero accountability. They didn't comp us anything, not even THE $3 FOR THE REPLACED MASHED POTATOES. Absolute train wreck in terms of kitchen management and customer service. Wow I'm so sad to write this because it's been such a staple for so long, but I will not be returning anymore.
