The staff was very respectful and polite, which I genuinely appreciated, but unfortunately the overall experience was pretty disappointing. I ended up waiting around 30 minutes just for someone to take my order, which already felt excessive. After finally ordering, there was an additional wait for the food, and when it came out, it was cold or at best lukewarm.
Even my drink wasn’t right—the ice had already melted by the time I got it, which just added to the frustration. It gave the impression that the order had been sitting there for quite some time before being brought out. There didn’t seem to be any real sense of urgency when it came to getting food to customers, even though there didn’t appear to be a major rush happening.
From my own experience working in fast food, I know how important it is to keep things moving efficiently. If food is ready, it should be served immediately to maintain quality and temperature. Letting it sit not only affects the taste but also the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what it felt like happened here.
I really wanted to have a better experience, especially since the staff themselves were kind and respectful, but the long wait times and poor food quality made it hard to overlook the issues. I hope improvements can be made in terms of speed, organization, and ensuring that food is served fresh and hot moving forward.

We ordered online and the online check in feature kept displaying a “not available” error, even though the spot we were in was obviously available. We tried to go through the drive through to get our food and waited for 30 minutes before we even got to the speaker. We waited even longer after we got to the speaker and never ended up receiving our food. Additionally, after going to the contact us portion of the sonic website none of the given contact methods work. It is obvious that their website with all these bugs was not very well designed. We also got no answer when trying to call the store, so in short we didn’t get our food or a refund.

Waited 45 minutes and our order wasn’t even right. I asked for no mayo or tomato - they SLATHERED it in mayo. My kids blast came out with no spoon so he had to wait until we were back at our hotel to even eat it. I asked for extra cherry in my cherry limeade but there were no cherries or limes in it at all. Our food only came out after I actually called and asked about it because the screen showed the food was delivered and it wasn’t.
Our Sonics in western NY are abysmal, I thought it was just crappy ownership of those 2 franchises but apparently Sonic as whole just has terrible service anywhere you go. Shame because the food is actually good, but I would have never gotten it if I knew I’d be wasting almost an hour of my day waiting for it to be wrong.
How is it possible to mess up an order twice? Food was terrible as well as the service. We won't be going back and I suggest nobody else does either.

Fish sandwiches was really great!!! I sample all the fast food offerings every Lent its a tradition. Fries good too. My 1st time at Sonic. Not a big fast food guy but they're on my list now. A mix up on the online order but staff was very helpful & gracious. I ate in my car just like the you tube Foodies do!
