  I hosted my son’s birthday party at Dave & Buster’s, and the experience was extremely disappointing and poorly managed. We were told our food would be served at 1:45 PM, but it didn’t arrive until 2:00 PM, cutting into our two-hour party reservation. Because we were instructed to eat first and let the kids play games afterward, this delay immediately reduced the time available for the kids to actually enjoy the party. The service was also very poor. Our package included unlimited fries and unlimited drinks, yet the fries were never refilled after the first serving, and drinks were only refilled once after I specifically asked. After dropping off the food, staff checked on our table only one time and then were completely unavailable for the remainder of the party. When someone finally returned around 3:00 PM, it was only to present the bill. At that time I discovered a $96 automatic gratuity that had never been discussed or disclosed when the party was booked, which felt extremely misleading and resulted in a significant unexpected cost. The same staff member then told us we had 30 minutes left and needed to be prompt because another party was coming, and the way it was said felt dismissive and unprofessional given that delays on their end had already taken time away from our party. The food itself was also very disappointing. It was dry and barely warm, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. To make matters worse, we arrived 15 minutes early and were simply told to go to the back without anyone guiding us to our reserved table. We had to find a staff member ourselves to confirm where we were supposed to sit. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized, inattentive, and poorly managed, and I left feeling taken advantage of. This was supposed to be a special birthday celebration for my son, and the service did not reflect that.

  Fun spot to hang out with friends, and the games are great! However, staff can be hit or miss—some are pleasant, others are pretty miserable. Also, expect slower service at the bar and when ordering food. Still a good time overall, just go in knowing what to expect!

  Compared to other Dave and Busters this was soooo disappointing… so small, need more room and games way more games, just cause it’s CT doesn’t mean we need the bad end of the stick Update visit 3/8 photos…

While the games offered are satisfactory, the prizes have notably declined in quality, and the food options are merely average. To enhance the overall experience, it is crucial for the establishment to address and rectify the numerous bugs affecting both the gameplay app and the website, as their current performance is severely lacking.

  I got 3 kids that I took here for a birthday party with some other family members. It was a fun time we spent almost 200 on just the game passes so they could play but it was only for like an hour. The only issue I really had is that the adults that were drinking didn't care where they left their cups of beer and to me that's a little dangerous considering how many kids were running around. I had to intervene with someone else's child that wasn't being watched that tried to grab a beer cup off a game than an adult left. The only thing I think is that they shouldn't allow any alcohol pass the bar area or dining area other than that it was a great time.
