We were celebrating a birthday but it also seemed many people were meeting for drinks before a UCONN game. Great fun spot !

The real star was the chicken katsu udon - the most flavorful noodles I’ve ever tasted and the medley of veggies and broth were incredible! Chicken was a hint dry but crisp with nice flavor. The cocktails were world class - the full bloom raspberry tea and vodka, the jalapeño mule and the cherry blossom rose with ginger syrup were beautifully presented. Desserts didn’t have much of an Asian or fusion flare but that molten lava cake was 10/10 - disappointed we opted to share instead of getting more. Can’t wait to return for more dumplings and sampling more of the menu!

The decor was beautiful — elegant yet comfortable, with great attention to detail that really set the tone for the evening. The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the chef takes real pride in their craft. Our waiter was amazing — attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. They made the whole experience feel personal and special. Overall, this place deserves every bit of praise it gets. One came out rare—basically raw—and mine was closer to medium. Not the end of the world, but for steaks priced over $60, I expected better consistency, especially from a place that’s known for quality. If you’re going to charge that much, you’ve got to hold up your end. Overall, good experience, but the steaks missed the mark for the price point.
