The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with every dish showcasing authentic taste and great attention to detail. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the visit. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and comfortable, creating a great dining experience. Overall, a fantastic place that consistently delivers excellent food and service. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- KPKatherine Park5 days ago1.0Worse Tteobokki I’ve ever had. It was worse than Trader Joe’s frozen Tteobokki. For $17, few pinky size rice cakes and fish cakes! Yike!! Never going back.

But I think either management or owner changed - we haven't seen the guy that used to be there anymore and Quality and Service have both gone down hill. our ramen orders have been missing ingredients, portion sizes have been cut and overall it just is not as good. Wonder what happened.

The bulgogi rice bowl was also really tasty, and the ramen was great too. If you’re in Hamden and looking for good Japanese and Korean-style food, definitely swing by Donburiya Cafe and grab a bite. Highly recommend!

The Ddeokbokki was the perfect texture, and the Korean wings and crab Rangoons were awesome in flavor and texture as well! My absolute favorite was the Japanese curry though!. The sauce was amazing, and the crunch on the chicken cutlet was perfect! Over all great experience and I will be back!
