Took my wife here for her birthday on 04/29. This was the first time here for both of us. This is a top tier restaurant. All the food was outstanding. Our server was magnificent. The wife and I both commented to each other on how quiet it was while sitting in our booth. We were able to have a conversation at our table without having to try and over-talk the surrounding background noise. I highly recommend visiting J. Gilbert's for an outstanding dining experience.
My party and I are first time goers and we were a bit nervous about trying something new. Upon arrival we were seated promptly and introduced to possibly the best server we have met. Kyle was nothing short of an exemplary employee and ensured all of our needs were met. If I had to choose one server for the rest of my dining times, Kyle, without a doubt, would be the server I chose.
(P.s his photo taking abilities are out of this world.)

To my understanding, Gilbert's is often very busy. I made a reservation for 4 as this was my first time; I'm not from the area. I absolutely loved everything about my meal and the service was absolutely phenomenal. Truth be told, of all the places I went to eat during the week I was there, this was by and by the best food and experience of them all. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner here. Everything came out perfectly, and was delicious. Steak was cooked to the requested temperature and seafood was not overcooked. The staff was very professional and multiple team members took the time to stop by our table and wish us a happy anniversary, which was an exceptionally nice touch. We will definitely be back!
Went here for our wedding anniversary. Our server was Jackie—very friendly and outgoing. She was fantastic and carefully explained the specials before taking our drink order. She is very detailed in explaining everything and very attentive, articulate and has a great sense of humor. We felt very comfortable with her. The food, as always, is excellent. The steak and lamb were cooked perfectly to order and the sides were excellent as well. My only knock on the restaurant is that if they have a dress code, they don’t enforce it. I expect that when I go to an expensive restaurant that people would dress accordingly—it adds to the fine-dining experience. There’s nothing on their website that even mentions a dress code, so I doubt that there is one. Ambience is a good thing-but instead, there were people in sweatpants and hoodies. I like to see a little bit of class from people when going to a real nice restaurant, not a Walmart atmosphere. Just because one has money and they can afford J. Gilbert’s doesn’t mean they have class. If you have class, then show it! Don’t show up in slovenly attire. It’s so sad that people don’t take pride in their appearance in this country anymore—I was not raised that way. If you want to dress like that, go to Burger King. So while I will return, I now know what to expect. I would love to see J. Gilbert’s step up their game to create a better atmosphere and dining experience. This is not a reflection directly on J. Gilbert’s—it’s more a knock on the attitudes of people in general. Other than that, I can’t say enough about Jackie and the food! Well done!
