The young woman who totaled up my groceries completed her task, then handed me the receipt as though we were done. She gave no indication that she had any intention of packing up my groceries. I said to her: "Are you going to pack them up?" She just looked at me and said: "Are YOU going to pack them up?" Stunned, I said "that's not my job." She very reluctantly proceeded then to pack my groceries with a resentful attitude. Am I expecting too much? By the way, it was not especially busy in the store when this occurred.
