  I went to Jimmy John's for the first time and I will never go again. I don't know how they are still in business. First I had to wait for the person who waited on me to finish texting. The sandwich was terrible. I had turkey and cheese. There was one very thin slice of turkey that didn't even cover the bread and one slice of cheese. Sandwiches certainly are not anything like their advertizements.

  Let's face it - You don't need to be a chef to work at Jimmy John's, you just need to make a sandwich - Its not that hard and requires little to no skill. So I don't understand why it is so hard to get it right at the Jimmy John's in East Haven. My sandwich has oxidized cold cuts (dull, gray, dried) - Typically takes 3 to 5 days to discolor when properly stored. So they are either serving old dated meat or they are not storing it properly, either way, its not good. Tomatoes and cucumbers are soft, glossy, almost slimy. Again, if properly stored 2, maybe 3 days before they look like this. Someone needs to call the state health department on this location. These people have no clue what they are doing. When we complained we were told that the franchise owner would contact us, but its been 2 1/2 weeks and have not hear anything. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

  They are the best ! Since the second or third time i came most of them know my normal order and start getting it ready as soon as i walk in, let me know about promotions, all of the staff is so kind especially the young ones at the register in the afternoons.
