  Poorly run location. No one seems to be in charge. No manager to be seen. Running out of staple foods, no forks, trash cans overflowing, 20 people on line, half the staff taking dinner break and all at 8pm on a Saturday night. I will try other locations if you can.

  The lentils in my salad are not cooked. They are crunchy and brittle and mixed in rice and other ingredients, ruining the whole bowl. I have to cook my salad in water, it is disgusting. This is not the first time they did this, they did it all the time. I complained it to the corporation but it seems this story is unfazed by it. The manager must track down how this happened.

  "Yesterday, I went to Cava Danbury for the first time, and honestly, it had been a long time since I felt so comfortable with the service provided by someone who, from the start, cared about explaining every station to me and showed a real interest in making sure I enjoyed my meal. His recommendations were 10/10. Thank you, Josean, for such excellent attention and service!"

  The quality and customer service have declined since they first opened, which is frustrating. Being met with rudeness and pushback over small requests (like slightly larger portions) the dining experience feels unwelcoming and not worth the price.$$ Management seems disconnected and aloof from the customer service aspect. it seems as if the employees are mirroring management’s bad work ethics. I originally went to Westport location where customer service experience is excellent. Danbury needs a whole new staff or better customer service training.

I had the pleasure of dining while Josean, the manager, was on duty. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely committed to customer satisfaction in such a high-energy environment. You don’t just go for the incredible mezze or the warm pita; you go for the hospitality. If Josean is at the helm, you can rest assured your meal will be perfect.
