Their once perfect home made fresh fries combined with their good burgers were what justified their high prices. They used to be perfectly fresh hand made hot and tender. But the last 3 times I have visited I was served dried out desiccated fries. The 1st 2 times I thought I was accidentally served fries which had been sitting out too long. but this time it was rush hour lunch time and they were exactly the same as the previous 2 visits. Truly worse that frozen fries. Sadly, I am done with 5 Guys. (Brookfield CT location.)

I have a gluten allergy, and the employees were very nice about it, I brought my own buns and they just gave me the patty and toppings.
