I was really looking forward to Easter brunch at Famille, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The pricing felt high for what was delivered.
Upon arrival, the hostess did not acknowledge us, and we were eventually seated at a cramped table in the corner where the spacing made it difficult to even get into our seats. When we asked to move, we were initially told those tables were reserved. She should not be greeting people. Thankfully, our server stepped in and kindly helped relocate us, which we appreciated.
There were a few highlights—the New York strip was well prepared, the omelet station was solid, and the chefs at the buffet stations were engaging and did a great job.
Overall, however, the experience didn’t match the price point. It felt disorganized at the front and underwhelming as a whole. I’d rate it a C and, unfortunately, would not return.
Had the Easter brunch today with 4 adults and 1 two year old. For $65 per person (and $20 for my two year old who barely ate) I was really expecting it to great but it just wasn’t. The eggs were flavorless, the salmon was dry, the lettuce was brown, and the prime rib was only good if you had the horseradish to dip it in, otherwise no flavor with any of the food. The only thing that I would’ve gone back for is the chocolate chip cookies. The server was good but spending over $400 after tip for a mediocre meal, will not be coming back.
Decided on this place for dinner & it did not disappoint, we shared the burrata which came with amazing focaccia. Husband got the Club which he said was phenomenal, I wasn't very hungry and chose to get the Cripsy artichoke hearts light batter and fried, the sauce was sooo delicious and them being fried was different good though. Dessert was Pretzel Chocolate Cake which was Divine Definitely would come again and try more dishes as everything sounded sooo spectacular. Our server was very informative with great service!

I usually dine alone at Famille, while headed into work. It's clean, contemporary and the service is very friendly and accomodating.
The menu has good variety and prices are moderate. It's well managed. I took away one star on food because I will order the same dish on different days and while both are good, even excellent on some days, the execution and ingredients vary. They serve the hotel they are in, so many won't notice because they aren't regulars. So not a big deal.
The employees are engaged in their work and a pleasure to interact with. Overall an excellent experience.
TLDR: Staff/aesthetic were great. Food was disappointing. Fine for those staying at the hotel, but do not recommend to anyone else.
Pretty confused by all the reviews saying the food is AMAZING. That was not our experience.
We went at 11 am on a Sunday and the host/staff were very attentive and so kind. But the food? It took 40+ minutes after ordering 2 entries and 2 sides to get anything to the table. Eventually let the waitress know that she could just bring out whatever was ready instead of waiting for it all to come out at once.
After such a long wait, we figured it was going to be this amazing all from scratch meal but we’re highly disappointed. Everything was mostly flavorless, seemingly frozen, mildly cold, or bland.
Really, felt more like slightly elevated hotel food. Which makes sense seeing as it’s attached to the hotel.
Then after such a disappointing meal, we paid $70 (tip included). Which felt way overpriced for the food we got (two entrees, one soup, one side, and two lattes).
We won’t be going back and I wouldn’t seek it out for those looking for elevated brunch in the north suburbs.
