Being Veteran's Day, I went in to get a free dinner. Was kind of busy and had to wait a few minutes for a table, but not too long. Waitress was a very kind, nice lady. Ordered our drinks as soon as we sat down. Took a minute for my son to know what he wanted. She gave us a few minutes and came back to take our order. Food came fairly fast. Very delicious! I signed in and played the trivia game for a few rounds before receiving the bill. She even gave us a refill on our drinks to go! Always receive excellent service at this location!

Maybe they were short staffed, but service was a bit rough. We did get seated right away but it took quite some time for us to even get our drink order placed. By then we were ready to order but said she'd take our order after she got our drinks.
Maybe that would not have been so frustrating if we weren't in a slight hurry.
Once our food was ordered, it came quick and tasted great. I did a sampler thing with 4 options. Two flavors boneless wings, pretzels and sliders. Didn't really like the sliders and the completely bites were a little heavy on the kosher salt but the wings were on point. My husband seemed to enjoy his bacon burger and fries.

I was a regular here for food, sporting games and fight viewing. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere now that I know the manager and staff have no empathy, compassion or understanding of what REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS under the ADA for people with disabilities means. YES, this does apply to your establishment. BWW I hope you have a discussion and training on this matter since apparently it needs to be addressed. I hope that mother files a complaint with the DOJ for discrimination because it ABSOLUTELY applies!

I watched the manager of this location tell a family that their 4 year old child could not eat a bag of Cheetos at the table, even after ordering multiple drinks, appetizers & entrees. After the mother explained that her child is autistic and suffers from severe food aversions, only preferring very specific things that they didn’t provide on the menu, the manager said that they either could throw away the Cheetos or leave all together. Honestly, I’ve never seen a restaurant not provide what is just the most basic level of accommodation (without having to PROVIDE literally anything) to a toddler/child with a different diet or taste than everyone else at the table. But after it’s explained to upper management that the child has a disability or requires special accommodations and you stand firm in your refusal to allow a 4 year old child with autism their Cheetos? It’s discrimination. It’s disrespectful. It’s incredibly disheartening. Let’s do better.

Disappointed with how our family was treated tonight
My family and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner tonight, and we had a very upsetting experience. My 4-year-old son is autistic (level 2) and has a very limited diet. He’s extremely selective about what he eats, which is common for children on the spectrum. He doesn’t eat most restaurant food, and Cheetos are one of the few snacks he will eat.
While we were at our table, my son started crying because he was hungry. I quickly ran to a nearby store (in the same parking lot) to buy him a small bag of Cheetos so he could eat something while the rest of us had dinner. When I came back, the manager stopped me and said I couldn’t bring the Cheetos inside because of their “no outside food or drinks” policy.
I explained that my son has a disability and that due to his autism, he will not eat most foods. I tried to help the manager understand that this is not simply a preference — it’s part of his disability. Even after my husband spoke with him and mentioned the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), the manager still refused to make an accommodation.
What made this even more disappointing is that we are a large family — our bill would have easily been over $100. We were there to support their business, order meals, and enjoy dinner together. All we were asking was to let our son have a small bag of Cheetos so he could feel included while we ate.
We’ve been to many restaurants and have never had an issue bringing in a small snack for our son due to his autism. This was the first time we were denied, and it left us feeling discriminated against and unwelcome.
I truly hope Buffalo Wild Wings takes this seriously and provides training for staff and management about disability awareness and reasonable accommodations for children with autism and other sensory-related needs. Families like ours just want to enjoy a meal together like everyone else.
